OleumTech Awarded Cathodic Protection Monitoring Patent

PATENT EXPANDS THE OLEUMTECH PORTFOLIO OF INNOVATIVE INDUSTRIAL WIRELESS AUTOMATION INTELLECTUAL PROPERTIES

Irvine, CA, June 27, 2011 – OleumTech Corporation, a leading manufacturer of industrial wireless automation systems, today announced being awarded Patent No. 7,884,626 B2 for Wireless Cathodic Protection Monitoring Systems. This technology enables the Cathodic Protection Monitor to collect and store data received from a cathodic protection rectifier, used to prevent rust, corrosion or possible leakage from an underground pipe or above ground tank. The stored data can later be wirelessly transmitted to a designated receiver module. This patented technology enables data collectors to poll data remotely from Cathodic Protection Monitors installed at various checkpoints, almost instantly and effortlessly.
