The GP Wireless Sensor Network Platform is based on OleumTech’s industrially hardened, Class I, Division 1 (CID1) Platform, and with approximately 400,000 wireless transmitters deployed worldwide in over 40,000 networks, the company’s technology has been field proven in some of the world’s most hazardous environments. Based on this core foundation, the GP Platform consists of sensor agnostic wireless transmitters communicating with a choice of wireless gateways. The transmitters can either be externally powered or with an optional battery pack, providing a completely self-contained solution and a battery life of up to 10 years.
“OleumTech has a long history of designing and deploying equipment in some of the harshest environments imaginable where there is always explosive liquids, vapors and gases present. Our flagship intrinsically safe, CID1 Platform was developed to meet these challenges” said Brent McAdams, Sr. VP of Global Strategic Initiatives, “As our customer base has grown into other vertical markets, we have listened to their feedback and developed the lower cost GP Platform based on the CID1 platform to provide the most seamless and intuitive platform available to help enable the digital transformation beyond just hazardous environments.”
The GP Platform is available now with a 2-year warranty included and frequency options of 868 MHz, 900 MHz, and 2.4 GHz. For more information, specifications and datasheets, visit: https://gp.oleumtech.com
